On Friday, November 22, 2024, Kapit Mas proudly participated as a speaker at a pivotal event organized by Disperindag Gianyar (the Department of Industry and Trade of Gianyar Regency). Themed “Business Networking for Development and Partnership Potential for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Silver Craft,” the event brought together key players from the industry, including representatives from BPIFK/BCIC (Bali Creative Industry Center), Warmadewa University, HIPMI Bali (Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association), and Customs and Excise.

This collaborative gathering, attended by silver craft entrepreneurs from Gianyar—particularly the renowned Celuk area—focused on fostering partnerships to strengthen the region’s position as a globally recognized hub for silver craftsmanship. The speakers shared a unified vision of providing training, resources, and equipment to empower artisans and preserve the cultural heritage of silver crafting, ensuring its relevance and appeal to younger generations.

Kapit Mas showcased its range of services and state-of-the-art equipment, emphasizing its commitment to supporting both professional artisans and vocational students (SMK) in Bali. The training programs offered by Kapit Mas integrate traditional techniques like manual hand engraving with modern industrial standards, such as 3D design and automated casting technologies.

Through collaboration with Disperindag Gianyar and other partners, the event emphasized equipping SMEs with the skills and tools to thrive in competitive global markets while maintaining the artistry and authenticity of Gianyar’s silver craft tradition. The long-term goal is to establish Gianyar as the world’s premier silver craft hub, fostering innovation and maintaining healthy competition to produce top-quality products that resonate worldwide.
